During my internship, I actively contributed to the development of concepts and ideas aimed at streamlining and aligning OCBC SG's system processes with those of OCBC Malaysia and Bank of Singapore.
This involved extensive collaboration with stakeholders during workshop meetings to incorporate their valuable insights.
Subsequently, I assumed a pivotal role in the design of OCBC's end-to-end client journey for the financial product workstream, focusing on products such as Structured Deposits, Structured Investment, and Floating Rate Negotiable Instrument of Deposit (FRNID).
I utilized various software, including Figma, HTML5, and PowerPoint, to create visually impactful UI/UX designs that captured the envisioned state of these journeys. These designs encompassed the entire process, from client engagement at the front end to system analysis and data storage at the back end.
The implementations resulting from this work are now integral to OCBC's Branch Manager Platforms.
To help tackle tourism in Singapore, my team and i created a innovative web scrapper tool for tourists. By utilizing C programming and libraries like Selenium, we create a scrapping algorithm to gather hotel price data from various sources including Hotel Trivago and Hotels SG. This tool empowers travelers to easily find the best deals. We incorporated basic web machine learning to enable users to customize their searches based on specific preferences, utilizing hotel feedback to filter results effectively. This project showcased our technical expertise, collaboration, and commitment to redefining travel planning.
Web scrapping, Machine Learning Models, C ProgrammingOpenSecure is a software that bridges the doubts of consumers by providing a process that allows various banks to issue documents that can be verified as authentic. With the use of blockchain to integrate hashes within bank documents, users can verify those documents on the Ethereum Blockchain with OpenCerts.io for enhanced trust in digital financial intuitions. By assigning cryptographic proofs to each digital certificates, creating secure and tamper-proof verifications. These proofs, acting as digital fingerprints, are stored on a decentralized blockchain ledger, ensuring data integrity across multiple servers. By leveraging OpenAttestation, OpenSecure can confirms the authenticity of documents from the cryptographic proof, deterring fraud. OpenCerts further streamlines the verification process, facilitating swift online onboarding for digital banking without the need for in-person visits.

As a key part of the ideation and coding process, I was in charge of developing the solution integrating the APIs.
