Hello, I'm Axel Goh, a highly motivated and dynamic individual who is currently pursuing a Degree of Applied Computing with a specialization in FinTech at SIT. My ultimate goal is to secure a position in the Fintech sector by leveraging my problem-solving skills and coding abilities along with my expertise in digital business processes.

My passion for computer science and digitization in our society is what drives me. I firmly believe that computing and digitization are essential components for our economic growth and sustainability. It is therefore vital for both individuals and businesses to adapt to the ever-changing technological landscapes. I was part of a team that created a Developed a Telegram bot named Pathfinder, designed to enhance the commuter experience by leveraging the Google Maps API for efficient public transport route planning. The bot integrates with the LTA DataMall API to provide real-time occupancy levels, fare price calculations, and route complexity assessments.
As a key part of the ideation and coding process, I was in charge of developing the solution integrating the APIs.

NUS Fintech Hackathon Challenge • Jan 2023

Semi-Finalist for the NUS Fin-Tech Hackathon 2023.
I was part of a team that created a document checker solution utilizing blockchain technology, which enables banks to issue verifiable documents to their customers.
As a key part of the ideation and coding process, I was able to contribute my expertise and technical skills to the development of this innovative solution.

Top 10 finalists for Hack-Rift Hackathon hosted by GovTech x SIT in 2022.
Our team developed an innovative app solution that allowed sports players in Singapore to reserve public sports facilities, creating a safe and comfortable environment for like-minded sports enthusiasts who are strangers.
